Notes

Market Plan

We walked through example markets to compare kings and transit shelters.  Three markets are selected: Atlanta, Boston, and DC.  100 TRPs are designated over four weeks. We can compare spots required to fulfill TRPs, as well as reach and frequency.  We noted that Roadside R/F will be updated in coming weeks.

How do you find the unduplicated reach% ? The summary line represents the unduplicated reach.  There will be duplication of persons with the kings’ reach along with the transit shelters’ reach therefore we show the campaign reach of those two combined.

The Market Plan currently allows to find a market average for the system.  You would be able to enter in the transit system name in the “Operator” field.

Will we be able to find downtown Manhattan coverage buses and combine those with urban panels?  In this scenario, we would need a way to specify urban panels more specific than within New York county and a solution would be drawing a type of polygon to select inventory.

It was also noted that, in general, if the UI is not able to select exactly what is requested, the API is available to answer more particular questions.

The Market Plan by Place and Placement Type is available through the API and these measures can be reviewed. I will be able to follow up with a report on the return data.

Placement Type example

We now have documentation on all five placement types, Front, Rear, Driver side, Passenger side, and Wrap.  The Front/Rear placement type example walked through the circulation by viewable audience.  The circulation numbers were reviewed and the impressions were aggregated.

If a car is in the vicinity of the rear ad but doesn’t necessarily pass the bus, does it count?  Yes, the viewshed for a perpendicular ad allows for an inclusive zone.

Tier 3 Base Impressions

Base impressions for remaining Tier 3 inventory will be available in the beginning of next week.  With those, we’ll be able to update Staging through the end of next week.

Legacy Data comparison

We’ll be able to make comparisons to the legacy data by formatting the current measures (system wide, weight averaged).  The comparison will be available in the transit methodology document.
