Notes
Reviewing Transit Systems for Approval
I noted that approvals for from staging into production are open. We have received a first approval from an operator to publish. Lamar has approved certain inventory for several systems with some questions on specific frame media. We’ll be able to address those questions so that the entirety of the system can be included.
Fleet Impressions Changes – Placement Type
The Fleet Impression Changes example highlighted Placement Type, specifically the difference between driver side and passenger side. The example walked through aerial imagery, circulation by placement type, circulation data, and the legacy vs. current impressions by placement type. It was suggested to name forward and reverse circulation as same direction and oncoming traffic. We also noted that the average speed of traffic is coming from the HERE network while the speed of the bus is coming from the segment by segment routed data.
Would we be able to add more information for front, rear and wrap placements? While the applicable circulation summary tables are available in the Transit Methodology document, the document does not go in depth on particular placement types. We’ll be updating the Methodology document to include these examples of the various placement types.
Spot IDs
Should I be using Spot IDs or Frame IDs? Spot IDs are recommended to be used to specify inventory. In the Workspace – Inventory Plan question that Bella posted, selecting 50 units of one Spot ID would designate a single garage as well as one construction name, placement type and ad size. We can also follow up with a description of the hierarchy of the spot, to the frame, to the construction, to the garage, to the system.
Market Plan
We will be adding in the capability to select Place(s) and Placement Type(s). Inventory from multiple garages and placements will be able to be selected, providing a larger range of inputs than a single garage and generic placement. An ETA on the upgraded Market Plan will be provided.
The Operators selection in the Market Plan has been resolved.
UX Workflows
Primary Artery will be updated with correct Frame Media name. Bobby will be posting additional reference points for the Operator name. While numerical data can be sorted, we’ll review if data can be sorted alphabetically.
