Geopath Place-Based Media: Overview

 

Geopath, a measurement bureau for the Out of Home Advertising Industry, provides opportunity & likelihood to see metrics for advertising media units in the form of Impressions data. Impressions are a gross count of advertising exposures. This means each time an ad is viewed, it generates an impression. Impressions provide the basic measurement of advertising exposures. Impressions include duplicated views and are a common metric used across all media types.

There are a variety of data inputs that Geopath uses to arrive at Impressions data. Circulation data is used as part of the inputs to calculate venue-based impressions. The following documents the methodology used to arrive at Venue and Screen Circulation as inputs to calculating Impressions for Place-based Advertising Media Inventory.
