The illumination refers to the type of lighting both structurally and the range of time when the frame is illuminated. Illumination encompasses both sunlight and artificial lighting. The illumination start and end time indicate the hour/minutes/seconds when a frame is illuminated. While the illumination type name indicates if it is naturally, artificially, or both illuminated.

All frames must include the hours of illumination from start to finish in a 24-hour clock and indicate the type of illumination on the frame. The goal is to understand the different types of illuminations as well as the times in which frames can be seen by audiences passing by.
