Notes

Review transit systems for approval

Several data points were highlighted as part of the review process.  If you are looking into any of the impressions, these attributes would help you better understand the ratings and will provide additional context.  The layout SOV represents one of the vehicles in the garage.  The placement type is the location on the vehicle.  The circulation is broken out by pedestrian, oncoming and same direction.

Market Plan by Place and Placement Type

The implementation of the max frames limit allows us to correctly find the number of units by garage for a system wide campaign. We walked through an example of MBTA bus kings to target 40 trips over 4 weeks.  Each line items shows the number of spots required to deliver approximately 5 TRPs.  The total number of spots, 78, delivers 43.5 TRPs and the goal is met.  We noted that the reach is still being updated with the assistance of the R/F Task Force. We should not be using the Market Plan and Inventory R/F numbers yet for fleet exterior.

Would we be able to query garages from different systems?

Yes, the garages are essentially just another type of place which can be selected. We’ll be able to select one garage from one transit system and another two garages from a different transit system and find the number of units required to reach our goal. This feature is scheduled to be available on Thursday.

Do we have a way to allocate by quantity of units?

If we wanted to allocate a certain number of units across multiple garages, could the Market Plan provide an answer.  The capability does not currently exist, but we will be able to specify the garages and then enter in the desired number of units as long as it’s within the maximum.

Tier 3 Impressions

Staging will be updated on 5/13 with tier 3 impressions.  The update to staging will also ensure that all 8 audiences populate with impressions data.

The Frame Media names were posted under “Reporting Standard Packages – Best Practices”.  The issue of Operator and Division name not showing up uniformly is being resolved by being ordered by Representation Type Name of “Own”, then “Manage”. An example would be MBTA, OUTFRONT in that order.

Sean Seepersaud is no longer with Vector.  I’ll be meeting with their VP of Marketing to communicate updates.

Station Interior

Opened the floor to thoughts on Station Interior.  There’s sentiment to finalize fleet, though there is a hold for reach and frequency to become available.

It was noted that station interior does exist in the Staging site and those systems are posted in the approval page.

Any related work which was completed for fleet would be helpful for station interior.  Documentation, comparisons, etc.

We would also like to seamlessly test the data along with other media classes.  A granular level of comparison by spot id would not be the first place to look, but rather a Market Plan view.
